TARA Personal Path for Body Balance: Water Yoga
Carmel, CA.-- Sept 2002 For years Tara has found her own private refuge for renewal and rejuvenation in the healing waters of mineral hot springs. In the many hours that she has spent soaking away tension, she explored ways to achieve body balance by combining the weightlessness of the water with yoga stretches.
"Water Yoga is one of the most effective ways I've found to aid in the realignment of the physical structure and to help restore balance to the whole being," says Tara. Without fighting gravity, individuals are able to work more deeply into stretches that they would otherwise find too difficult or painful out of water.
Having been a yoga teacher and a massage therapist with a specialty in structural bodywork, Tara is excited to share her new program with spas to integrate into fitness programs or offer as revenue generating private sessions.
We're also in the process of developing our Ayurvedic Yoga Program, correlating Yoga movement with the specific Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas.
